Grassroots activism is a powerful force that can shape the direction of a nation.
Many of us can do one or two simple things a day for advocacy, but we need more people taking action.
The longer the power of the people stays on the sideline, the stronger Trump, Musk, and Putin grow.
If we want to protect the future of this country, we must double down on our organizing efforts to build people power in every city and every state in our nation.
We must show up, speak out, and build power to replace these corrupt politicians.
By taking action, holding leaders accountable, and advocating for dignity, respect, and opportunity for all, we can build an America that lives up to the values of liberty and justice for all, just the wealthy, powerful, or privileged.
We hear it. And we feel it. The urgency. The heartbreak. The fury at the injustice all around us.
But here’s the truth: We’re doing everything we can—and then some.
People Power United isn’t a corporation. We don’t have a war chest. We’re a 100% grassroots movement run by people who work full-time jobs, care for loved ones, battle illness, juggle life—and still show up every day to fight for our rights, our freedoms, and our democracy.
Grassroots organizing is labor. It’s tireless, often invisible, and emotionally exhausting work. It’s writing petitions and letter campaigns at midnight. It’s coordinating events on your lunch break. It’s helping someone believe their voice matters, even when the system tells them it doesn’t.
So when someone asks, “Why aren’t y’all doing more?” we lovingly flip that question:
What can you do? How can we do more together?
Because not everyone is at the same stage of activism—and that’s okay. Some folks are knocking doors. Some are writing letters. Some are marching. Some are simply learning. Every role matters. Every step counts.
This movement isn’t about perfection. It’s about participation.
We need builders. Dreamers. Doers. People willing to show up with others, not just call them out.
We are not just reacting to injustice—we’re building the foundation to outlast it.
So whether you’ve been fighting for decades or you’re just getting started, know this:
You are welcome. You are needed. And you are powerful.
