Over 300,000 people have signed this petition calling on Congress to start impeachment proceedings against President Trump. We need to show that Americans across the country refuse to allow Trump and his allies to destroy our democracy.
If you’re with us, please share our petition with 5 people to help us keep the pressure on Congress to uphold the Constitution.

Donald Trump is wrecking our economy, alienating our allies, and putting America on a path to devastation.
We can't afford to wait until 2029 for his presidency to end. We need to remove him NOW.
If just half of Senate Republicans joined with Democrats, we'd have enough votes to remove him (after impeachment by the House). We need to put pressure on Republicans to do this. They should not get a free pass just because we expect them to be spineless. Plus, the crashing stock market and foreign policy blunders are scaring Congressional Republicans, who face reelection. We need to take advantage of this to separate them from Trump.
Yes, Vance would be no picnic, but Trump is the clear and present danger to our nation, and we need to remove him ASAP.
Add your name, and tell Congress to remove Trump NOW. America can't wait until 2029.

This is about safeguarding the very foundations of an informed, educated, and empowered public.

That’s why Our Revolution has been working tirelessly with our partners Free Press, ACLU, and NABET-CWA to run attention-grabbing demonstrations, channel enormous pressure onto Congress, and activate our Citizen Action Team across the country.

Add your name today: Tell Speaker Johnson and Congress that we won't let Trump silence NPR and PBS.

So What Do We Do Now?
How Do We Fight Back?
Start Here By Signing Petitions For Direct Action!

🚨 TAKE A STAND AGAINST H.R. 32! 🚨

Congress is considering H.R. 32, the Defund Our Communities Act, which would strip federal funding from cities and states that refuse to help enforce the Trump administration’s anti-immigrant policies.

If passed, H.R. 32 would force local governments to choose between supporting the Trump administration’s plans to deport our immigrant neighbors and loved ones or losing critical federal funding for schools, hospitals, transportation, and housing. Now is the time to speak up and stop this bill.

TAKE ACTION:
👉 Contact your representative and demand they vote NO on H.R. 32, the Defund Our Communities Act: http://crnt.link/aclu-hb32-feminist (also linked in bio)

☎️ CALL SCRIPT:
“Hi, my name is [SAY YOUR NAME] and my zip code is [SAY YOUR ZIP] from [SAY YOUR STATE NAME]. As a constituent, I urge you to vote NO on H.R. 32, the Defund Our Communities Act. This bill would create chaos, it could potentially cut federal funding to schools, hospitals, homeless shelters, and transportation systems in more than two dozen states deemed “sanctuaries.” Please vote NO on this harmful bill.”

The Save Act
1. It makes it harder for married women to vote.
2. It makes it harder for rural voters to cast a ballot.
3. It makes it harder for all American citizens and registered voters to cast a ballot.
4. The bill is redundant and unnecessary.
5. The bill creates more red tape.

STOP TRUMP’S WAR ON WORKERS

While Donald Trump campaigned as a “worker champion,” he’s stripping union rights away from federal workers, rolling back organizing reforms passed by the National Labor Relations Board and gutting the US Department of Labor.

Former Labor Secretary Julie Su, following up on her remarks at Our Revolution’s War on Workers Town Hall last month, authored a new Century Foundation report that describes how Trump’s draconian budget cuts will give corporate bosses a greenlight to steal worker wages, violate health and safety standards, and engage in unlawful discrimination.

Hold Trump accountable for its fascism and free Kilmar Abrego Garcia NOW!

The Trump administration illegally deported a Maryland father to an El Salvador mega-prison, admitted it was a mistake, but are now refusing to bring him back — even after the Supreme Court unanimously ruled against them. While Trump and El Salvador’s dictator both claim their hands are tied, the President is doubling down on the possibility of sending U.S. citizens to be tortured in this foreign prison.

This is a constitutional crisis that desperately requires urgent action from Democrats and Republicans alike.

Protect women's and trans people’s right to vote by calling on congress members to vote no on the SAVE Act.

Send a letter to Congress telling them to vote NO on the Save Act. As a loyal, long-time voter, you can edit your letter to your members of Congress about why you think it’s vital to protect voting rights.

Call your representative: Help block Republicans from disenfranchising millions of voters with their “Silencing Americans Act." This Thursday, we expect the House to vote on H.R. 22 -- one of the biggest threats to voting rights we’ve seen in a generation. You may know this bill as the “SAVE Act” but we are calling it by a more accurate title -- the “Silencing Americans Act.” The bill requires voters to show proof of citizenship documents that match their current legal name -- something tens of millions of Americans simply don’t have. It’d cause massive challenges for married women and trans and nonbinary people who’ve changed their names, and disproportionately impact people of color.

This Bill is Using “Women’s Safety” to Justify Deporting Immigrant Survivors of Violence

S. 158, introduced by Sen. Marsha Blackburn, would allow deportations based on accusations alone, putting undocumented survivors of abuse at greater risk. Framed as protection, the bill is a dangerous weapon in the MAGA mass deportation agenda.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is the highest law enforcement official in America. And yet she seems to have no problem ignoring basic Constitutional and legal principles, and using selective enforcement and threats for political benefit.

Which is why she should be disbarred and sanctioned by legal regulators, and prevented from practicing law.

Bondi is ignoring orders from courts, and even arresting judges as a means of intimidation. She is selectively going after a Democratic technology firm critical to Democratic candidate fundraising -- without any evidence. In short, she is doing the bidding of Donald Trump, who has clearly shown he couldn't give a hoot about the law, when she should be working for the country.

Lawyers are expected to follow certain minimal, basic standards, or they lose the privilege to practice law. And with Bondi, it's not even a close call.

As you may recall, that’s what Donald Trump said when he announced his presidential campaign on June 16, 2015. (Yes, we are now a decade into this national nightmare.) He reiterated the idea — that he was already so rich that we would be impervious to financial temptations as president — over and over again.

It was clearly never true. And Trump has debased the office of the president to enrich himself and his family to a degree so unprecedented and extreme that it might seem almost comical if it weren’t so nakedly corrupt.

  • Among the most flagrant grifts are the “meme coins” launched earlier this year by both Trump and his wife, Melania.

  • For background, “meme coins” are a type of cryptocurrency (digital-only money not backed by any government or bank) that have little to no intrinsic value aside from people simply being willing, or being hoodwinked, into spending money on them. The name originated in connection with internet memes (moderately humorous graphics that go viral online).

  • The Trump family has reportedly made at least $320 million from fees they “earn” when people trade their various cryptocurrencies.

  • Indeed, just this week, Trump doubled down on his solicitation for his “meme coin” venture (scam might be a better word), having previously offered tickets to a gala at one of his golf resorts to the 220 biggest “investors.”

  • Federal law forbids presidents from soliciting gifts. And, since issuing a “meme coin” is not a presidential act, Trump isn’t even covered by the absurd immunity provision the Supreme Court fashioned out of thin air last year.

  • Public Citizen has called for an investigation into Trump’s seemingly obvious violation of federal law barring the president from soliciting gifts.

  • We have also highlighted the egregious risk inherent in the fact that since Trump’s “meme coins” can be purchased anonymously, unknown actors — including potentially foreign governments — could, in essence, stuff cash into the president’s pockets.

Here’s what one of us (Lisa) told the national media:

“As is often the case with this administration, the corruption and scandal is happening out in the open, right in front of our eyes. The question now is what are our elected leaders going to do to stop it? Passing legislation to fight this corruption is a great place to start.”

Tell Congress:

Donald Trump is abusing the office of the president to enrich himself and his family, including via assorted crypto ventures and/or scams. Congress must pass legislation to clearly and definitively prohibit presidents, vice presidents, Cabinet secretaries, members of Congress, and the immediate family members of those people from issuing so-called digital assets such as “meme coins.”

Stop the No Rogue Rulings Act — protect the judicial checks on Trump’s power!

What Is The No Rogue's Ruling Act?

The No Rogue Rulings Act (H.R. 1526) aims to limit the power of district courts to issue nationwide injunctions, ensuring that judicial orders only apply to the parties involved in a specific lawsuit. The bill passed the House of Representatives on April 9, 2025. Supporters argue it restores federalism and prevents activist judges from interfering with the democratically elected branches of government. Opponents argue it undermines the ability of the judiciary to uphold constitutional principles and protect the rights of individuals.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Arguments in favor:

The bill aims to clarify that judicial orders should not bind non-parties to a lawsuit, promoting a more limited role for the judiciary.

Supporters believe the act will curb the power of district judges to issue nationwide injunctions that can interfere with policies set by the President or Congress.

The bill aims to ensure that policy decisions remain with the elected branches of government, rather than being made by unelected judges.

Arguments against:

Opponents argue the act weakens the courts' ability to enforce constitutional rights and protect individuals from government overreach.

Without nationwide injunctions, it can be argued that the enforcement of constitutional rights will be unevenly applied, potentially harming vulnerable populations.

Opponents argue the bill would create a fragmented system of justice where multiple, potentially inconsistent rulings could arise in separate cases, making it more difficult for individuals to seek relief.

Key Provisions:

  • The No Rogue Rulings Act would amend Chapter 85 of Title 28 of the United States Code.

  • It would restrict the authority of district courts to issue orders providing for injunctive relief, limiting them to those that only apply to parties directly involved in the case.

  • The bill has been introduced in the House and has passed the House of Representatives.

You may have heard the news - right now, extremists in Congress are trying to cut a potential $880 BILLION from Medicaid, and anti-abortion lawmakers are trying to defund Planned Parenthood too.

More than two-thirds of all adults in the United States have some connection to Medicaid.

Medicaid covers one in five of all Americans - that’s:

  • 18 million women

  • Half of all children in the United States

  • 1.2 million LGBTQ adults

  • One in four births

And of those women covered by Medicaid? One in ten women have received reproductive care at a Planned Parenthood Clinic.

Because of racist abortion-coverage bans that are already in place, Medicaid dollars and federal funding can’t even go toward abortion care. So instead of working to expand access, these politicians are doubling down by defunding clinics where more than 2 million people get basic care.

The basic care they’re coming after? Cancer screenings, STI testing and treatments, and contraceptives.

But it’s not too late to fight back and the pressure is working. The Committee in charge of funding for Medicaid has already had to push back their meeting to next week, and even conservative lawmakers are publicly saying they aren’t comfortable defunding Planned Parenthood.

Why? Because people like you are calling and emailing your representative.

STOP MEDICAID CUT

On May 1, Donald Trump took out his novelty-sized marker and scrawled his jagged signature on another stupid and legally baseless “executive order.”

This one claims to zero out federal funding for National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting System (PBS).

Why is Trump — like so many Republicans before him — attacking NPR and PBS?

  • Because Trumpists are desperate to eliminate any source of objective news that honestly reports on the stupid, cruel, and illegal things the regime is doing.

  • Because Trumpists can’t stand how programs like Sesame Street and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood teach kids that it is OK to have feelings and to be empathetic.

  • Because Trumpists know that a thriving, independent public media system — a bulwark of democracy — is fundamentally at odds with their project of autocracy, corruption, and power.

For decades, Republicans have been ranting about money going to NPR and PBS. Never mind that the amount of funding for public radio and television is not even a drop in the bucket of overall federal spending. And never mind that those same Republicans are — as we speak — actively plotting to increase the Pentagon’s budget by tens of billions of dollars.

Now, Congress specifically set up the nation’s public broadcasting to NOT be under the control of any president. But Trump is trying to assert control anyway.

Tell Congress:

There is utterly no good reason to eliminate federal funding for NPR and PBS. And Donald Trump has no authority to unilaterally do so regardless. We call on every member of Congress — those whose hearts have not hardened into gravelly nuggets of grievance and insecurity, at any rate — to do everything in their power to assert Congress’ rightful control over federal funding for public broadcasting and to save NPR and PBS from the illegal MAGA buzzsaw.

Cuts to Medicaid

There are five Republican senators who have come out on the record against cuts to Medicaid.  They are Josh Hawley, Bernie Moreno, Jerry Moran, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins.

There is also a group of Republican senators who met privately last week about this, and that group included senators Ted Budd, Rick Scott, Eric Schmitt, and Jon Husted.  While they have not come out publicly about concerns over the Medicaid cuts, according to The Hill one of those senators told The Hill that "There’s probably five, six, seven of us who, if you do anything that cuts into benefits, you’re going to have a real problem."

Senator Hawley told NBC that other Republicans "want to build our big, beautiful bill around slashing health insurance for the working poor," calling doing so morally wrong.  Senator Collins said that she's been "very concerned about the impact on children, on people with disabilities, on seniors who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, and for low-income families," and Senator Moreno said that the talk around cutting Medicaid "infuriates me... it only serves to stress people out."  Senators Moran and Murkowski clearly stated that they would not support cuts to Medicaid that threatened rural hospitals.

When you call these senators say something along the lines of this (but mix it up and make it your own):

"I'm calling because I want to thank you for understanding that you represent 'the people', and not just a subset of the people.  Even though I may not be in your party, or even your state, I very much appreciate the clear-eyed view that you have of how devastating it would be for so many different populations, if cuts to Medicaid were passed.  We all realize that we need to reel in the deficit, but not at the expense of the health and safety of children, the elderly, and the disabled! So, again, thank you!"

Increasing the Deficit

There are at least four Republican senators who have indicated that they will not vote for the "big, beautiful bill" if it doesn't further reduce, rather than increase, government spending.  Now, you may think that would mean that we should not call them, but in fact we need to call them and encourage them to stand firm.

As Republican Senator Ron Johnson explains, "My campaign promise in 2010, and every campaign after that, was to stop mortgaging our children's future. It's immoral, it's wrong and it has to stop.  And so Trump may not be worried about that, but I’m extremely worried about that.  I couldn't care less if he's upset. I'm concerned about my children. My grandchildren."

Meanwhile Senator Rand Paul also spoke out against increasing the country's debt with this bill, saying that "Everybody is falling in lockstep on this 'Pass the big, beautiful bill. Don't question anything.' Somebody has to stand up and yell, 'The emperor has no clothes'!"

And Florida's Rick Scott (how about that, against Medicaid cuts and against increasing the deficit!) explained that "I want to get a deal done; I support the president’s agenda. I support the border, I support the military, I support extending the Trump tax cuts - but we have to live in reality. We've got to live in reality here. We've got a fiscal crisis."

Thom Tillis also said emphatically that there needs to be more deficit reduction in the bill.

You don't have to agree with these guys, or their politics, or most of what they say, you just need to encourage them to not pass that "big, beautiful bill".  So say something like this:

"It may surprise you to know that even though I'm not in your party or state, I agree with you that the "big, beautiful bill" doesn't go nearly far enough in reducing the deficit, and so I wanted to call and applaud you for not voting for a bill that would increase our deficit so dramatically!  Please create a package to start reducing the deficit by not extending the 2017 tax cuts, by making the wealthy in the upper income brackets pay their fair share, and by looking more closely at military and defense spending, rather than giving $25billion to a controversial and unproven "Golden Dome".  We can be smart about spending, we need to be smart about spending!"

Wisconsin: Ron Johnson 202-224-5323

Kentucky: Rand Paul 202-224-4343

North Carolina: Thom Tillis 202-224-6342

Florida: Rick Scott 202-224-5274

Again, if you have time, call their local offices too!

Now remember to make these scripts your own.  If a staffer gets hundreds of calls that all sound the same they will discount them.  And, as always, let us know how your calls went!

Keep on fighting the good fight!  We are truly helping to save our democracy!
